We’re so excited to share our latest features and improvements to the Embrace dashboard!
We’ve got five new things that we know you’ll be excited about:
- “Group by” functionality added to graph widgets
- Presentation mode for dashboards
- Link directly from widgets to other parts of the dashboard
- Responsive widgets
- Updated “Health and Trends” template widget dashboard
“Group By” Functionality Added to Graph Widgets
Now you can easily show multiple groups on the same graph widget. In the following example, we’ve selected persona as a “group by” in the widget wizard to break out moment median duration by persona.
At Embrace, we want you to have control over how your data is visualized. Now, you can monitor a metric across groups, giving you even more at a glance insights into your apps.
Presentation Mode for Dashboards
Embrace can now be thrown up on a TV and look good in the process. You can configure the dashboards you care about and view them without distraction. Just click the TV icon at the top of the Dashboards page to turn on presentation mode.
Link Directly from Widgets to Other Parts of the Dashboard
Clicking on a widget now takes you to the relevant part of the Embrace dashboard, based on the metric you used to create the widget. In the following example, clicking on a widget about moment median duration brings you to the App Performance (or Moments) page.
It’s easier than ever to dive in and investigate when something deserves your attention.
Every widget is now fully responsive based on the screen size.
Updated “Health and Trends” Template Widget Dashboard
The "Health and Trends" widget dashboard is a template dashboard setup by Embrace, directly accessible from the Dashboards page. Users can duplicate it and edit it, but are not allowed to directly change the template. It's our "example" dashboard. Each app has one in the dashboards list.
We’ve made some additions and improvements to it that increase visibility into the health of your app:
- You can now group these graphs by app version.
- We’ve added a new “Cold Start % of Sessions” graph.
- We’ve added a “Startup Duration for Worst 5%” graph.
We’re excited to share these new additions to the Embrace dashboard! As always, please share any feedback so we can continue to build features and improvements that help your team be successful.
